Walker Art is an independent art advisory established by Alexia Walker to assist private, corporate and institutional clients with their art, from navigating the complexities of the art world  to building and managing significant collections.

Walker Art is guided by the code of ethics defined by the Association of Professional Art Advisors and based on the 3 E's - the right art Education, professional art Experience and business Ethics- to best serve clients.

Walker is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and has unique expertise in modern and contemporary African art.

About Alexia Walker

​

Prior to establishing Walker Art, Walker co-founded the art advisory Walker Scott, was a business consultant in the art auction and advertising sectors, and owned businesses in the marketing and music industries.

​

Walker holds a Master in contemporary art history from Université de La Sorbonne, Paris.

She is a board member at Javett-UP Art Centre of which she chairs the Art Commitee.
